Watch this goldfish steer its very own robotic tank around the room

This tiny goldfish is a long way from being able to work the gas and brake pedals, but with a little technological help, it can steer a robotic car simply by swimming around its tank.

The Fish on Wheels was created by image recognition technology company Studio diip. A camera mounted above the car's fish tank, detecting the position of the fish. If the fish moves toward the right side of the tank, the car moves right (after a bit of lag); if it swims to the other side, the car changes directions. So if something shiny catches the fish's eye and the fish tries to swim towards it, the car will move toward it as well.

The studio says that after driving, the goldfish is placed back in a normal, stationary tank, left to dream its fishy race car dreams.
